Surroundings

Santa Elia is directly on the coast of Sicily, a little outside the island’s capital city of Palermo. It is in the area of Santa Flavia, well known to us as it is a stone’s throw away from where one side of the family live. The front door of Casa Daniela is just a hundred yards from the beach and a few local cafes – the village has all day-to-day shops and a choice of restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity (within 400m). A supermarket is around 700m away, the town of Porticello under 2km and the nearest train station is in Santa Flavia (2km).
