About Me

Hi,

my name is Thomas Gruessner and I am the founder of Casa in Sicilia and Property in Sicily. I am a german citizen living in Sicily. I moved to this beautiful country in the late ’80s and since then I set up different business. We founded the Solemar-Sicilia language school in 1988 and were the first to offer Italian courses for foreigners directly by the sea in Sicily. Later, we started to accommodate our guests not only in rented holiday flats, but also bought fishermen’s houses in the village and restored them ourselves. Our guests were so enthusiastic about this that they asked me to help them find and renovate properties too. This is how the idea of “Property in Sicily” was born.
